I don't see it as comprehensive as the judges, to me it was closer.

I thought Usyk nicked it just.

But I thought a draw was quite possible too.

    Frankly the fight was boring.
Usyk was terrible, Fury was terrible, the scorecards were absolutely terrible. This ugly fight was close, but not clownish 116-112. Last present from biden team for the “give me, give me” I guess..

Hopefully Usyk will not be a fighter of the year as he does not deserves it. But again politics… Hopefully Fury will retire as well, both are terrible for boxing.

and yes very tired of the uke bs with their politics etc

Anyone who doesn't have Usyk at P4P #1 is out of their minds. 335 amateur wins and an Olympic gold medal, followed by becoming the undisputed champion at cruiserweight on just his fifteenth pro fight, followed by an undefeated run at heavyweight where he became the first four belt heavyweight champion ever in his twenty-third fight. Literally everyone he fought at heavyweight was 20+ pounds heavier than him, with his last fight being against the #1 contender and former champion who was almost half a foot taller and over 50 pounds bigger (imagine Crawford or Inoue trying to fight a champion with even a 25 pound weight advantage). Had only two close fights ever. Never beaten. Never knocked down. Never even looked seriously hurt.

Shouldn’t the number 2 spot be between Dubois and Fury realistically??

Right! Usyk smacked all three; Joshua, Dubois, and Fury - with a big left hand in the opening 30 seconds.

You are right. Usyk does embody the sense of p4p - beating someone taller and heavier with skills. I guess I'm factoring the fact that in 2017. Rungvisai had two victories over Roman Gonzalez, the then number one p4p in the world. Yet didn't get the award for FOTY.

Looked like he wasn't too happy about being called a freak. Looked like he was admonishing him after the fight.

Usyk doesn't need turkey, turkey needs him.
