He's definitely an ATG mate, but people always get overzealous when they start saying he beats all these great heavyweights.

Fury isn't a great Heavyweight. AJ wasn't either.

Wlad would be difficult for him. Wlad was really good against lefties and smaller opponents.

Usyk would be a nightmare for Lewis. Lewis never faced a good southpaw in his career, and really didn’t face many good boxers with angles and stamina. Lewis got winded easy. Lennox excelled against sluggers. But guys that were smaller ran in him the distance that could box. Holyfield 2x and the Croatian guy even had moments. I wouldn’t bet a red cent on Lewis against Usyk.

Wlad got knocked out by both Joshua and Lamon Brewster and almost Samuel Peters. You sure about that?

Of this era, I agree. I think Frazier and Tyson stop him though.

You're saying the 50th greatest boxer of all time, by your own ranking, wouldn't constitute ATG status? That's mad.

Vitali, Wlad and Lewis in there. Difficult for Usyk, all of those.

When I ay ATG I usually mean top 20-30, but yeah if top 50 makes the cut then fine

I don't have him near goat status, not close

    Yeah, pretty sure.

There was a 10 year stretch in which Wlad didn't lose a round and he smashed Brewster in the rematch. Joshua KOed him when he was 56 and got knocked down himself.

Tyson brutally KO'd by a C level in the midst of his prime and he was KO'd/stopped 5 times by he was Usyk's age despite him being a natural al HW

Louis and Dempsey barely fought any black fighters and we're both KO'd in their primes by fighters their size not giants

    Marciano fought OAPs

Lewis one punch sparked out x 2 in the midst of his prime but C levels

Ali was great. Respect. But show me when Usyk was saved from a KO loss by the bell by a 22lb lighter paper chinned, paper skinned 185 domestic/Euro level! I'll wait

And Ali was often the much bigger or bigger man unlike Usyk

Klitschko knocked out x 3 in his prime, Usyk slaying giants with the deck heavily stacked against him.

All natural carer HWs and most fought in eras when boxing was a regional sport

Usyk and Ali are the GOATs

Work rate and chin seems to be the perfect foil for all these big modern heavyweights. They just have no answer for it do they?

Haha he's the GOAT of the most historically thin division of all time, but doesn't come close to being GOAT of the Heavies. I don't even think he rates highly H2H there. Tyson and Foreman would have walked right through him.

Usyk has a great chance of beating anyone in any era. The engine, the movement, the none stop punching, the ring iq all gives anybody in history trouble.

I'll give him 3rd behind Wlad and Lennox. This is almost strictly off the Dubois win.

Agreed, but cruiser is a bum division and he was born at a great time

Both those guys and Lewis walk him down
I also favour bowe who gets overlooked
Holyfield would be interesting. I honestly think he would outgun usyk insude
