This is one of the dumbest posts I've ever read in my life I might aswell say "oh damn I'd certainly win the London marathon if I had more stamina"

It's called hard work and dedication you think it's easy to have great stamina ? Why aren't we all as successful then if it's that easy.

His stamina does wi him fights. I'm not sure why this is being considered a downside. Much different fighter from Marciano, but the same attribute they share is getting stronger as it goes. That's Usyk. I think he'd be even better in the 15 round era.

And if there's a doubt of his skills (which is crazy) well.....you have to have enough skill to get to the later rounds.

I'll leave on this note, Mike Tyson said Ali will drag you into deep waters and drowned you. So...Usyk / Ali / Marciano? Pretty good company.

I'm saying that his stamina is his biggest and most important attribute. Without it, his style crumbles. And the style itself isn't that technically impressive.

Going up in gears for him is work rate based.

    What are you saying exactly?

If Fury was Usyk's height he'd be flipping burgers lol...

Yeah that's what I mean. And whilst it's undisputable that he's a goat, it just gives me a craving to watch fat Toney fighting or something lol. Or Pacquiao throwing exploitative counters. Similar to calzaghe I suppose. Legends but stamina driven.

Without his elite size and power Lennox Lewis would have lost many, many times.

Without his elite size and chin Vitali would have been knocked out many times.

Without his elite power Foreman would never become world champion.

And so on, and on, and on...

    So what's your point?

Not doubting his skills. His style is built for stamina. Tyson's for explosivity. Marciano's style for heart and chin. Usyk is a stamina guy who relies on it big time. It's just an observation my friend.

I mean once you have the fundamentals down, stamina is the single most important attribute in boxing

What a ridiculous thread. This elite stamina is a result of the discipline, sacrifice, professionalism he has maintained in camp and out of camp in terms of fitness, diet, lifestyle. You will reap the rewards of a stupendous stamina in the championship rounds of the big fights.

It isn't his greatest asset. There are guys that can throw 100 punches a rnd and don't amount to anything. Don't get me wrong. It is a huge advantage. I think his biggest advantage is his accuracy. Add that with stamina , the way he slips punches, use foot work to get in and out.

His accumulation of his accurate punches is what makes the bigger and stronger punchers hesitant of exchanging with him. It may not be 1 punch KO power but it is still getting hit by a 220+ lb fighter. It still hurts.
