This discussion has to be had now, he’s beat all of who was the best of the division when he fought them, there’s nothing more he can do, there’s no one he can beat who is better than who he’s already beat.
    Who wins this matchup?

I like Foreman, Lewis, Holmes, and Ali over Fury.

Give me Cassius Clay to beat Usyk. Not Ali.

    67 Ali vs 2021 Usyk?

67 Ali by a close decision. Quicker hands, quicker feet. Ali's lead right hand and combination punching will score enough points to win.

Usyk has never been at a speed disadvantage vs anyone. He would be here.

    67 Ali wins every round.

Gets the stoppage if he really wants it.

There are levels in this sport.

Sure but i don't think its that easy. Ali only fought two southpaws and neither one was in Usyk's league.

Ali didn't like being the agressor, and Usyk would force him to lead. Usyk can also match his endurance and is the same size as him.

It would be unfair to Usyk to think he couldn't win some rounds with his left hand and volume punching.

    Maybe.

But from my memories of that time period, Ali only lost rounds when he took a rest.

Fom Liston 2 till exile, he don't think Al lost more than seven rounds in those seven fights.

I'm a fan of Usyk, but Ali moved like a welterweight.

    Very hard to land on.

Ali changed his name From Clay just after he beat Sonny Liston to win the title. He had another 9 fights as Ali up to and through 1967 including the quick KO of Liston. It's commonly acknowledged he was at his greatest heading into exile as he was in his physical prime and very experienced at that point.

Many seem to see 60's Ali as Clay and 70's Ali as Ali for some reason.
