I just watched Usyk vs Fury 2....How do people think it was 8-4 or even 9-3?

I'm sorry but if you don't score body shots then YDKSAB and should probably never be taken seriously on the topic of scoring ever again.

    Not close imo.

I had it 9-2-1...the even fight being round 1. There could have been another even round in there and maybe another round, or at most 2 for Fury, even then Usyk comes out the winner.

More punches, higher punches connected, just hands down the winner.

Can someone please show me in the rules where it says if you complain about a shot you lose or should lose the round?

I dont think theres any problem with that tbh. Scoring a round will always be subjective probably depending on what you prefer. I dont have a problem with a 4 points swing for usyk. In close fights like that 4 points for usyk could be a good scorecard. I still say a draw or even a fury win would have been a reasonable card also.

It was a close fight...closer than the first one. Over the course of the two fights usyk was the better man and the big 9th round of the first fight will always seperate them. Usyk should have had a stoppage win the first time round. Fury improved for the second fight tho....and neither man really sealed it conclusively the second time imo. If you had to pick one i,d probably say usyk and i m glad he got it so we dont get a trilogy next. But i dont think a 3rd fight down the line for fury should be out the question like it probably should be for say joshua.

Usyk won. No way would I have given this fight to Fury.
The entire fight Usyk looked like the challenger, while Fury was mostly trying to play it safe.

Scoring a round is not just a sum up of who connected more punches but a subjective judging of who dominated the round , who connected shots which had an effect , who boxed more clean and who had the better defense .

Here usyk was the better skilled , technically superior boxer on many rounds and imho deserved the win .

As a Brit - I wanted Fury to win, as this is still the best HW match up but the truth is that Usyk comfortably won 8-4/116-112.

Usyk is just too good for Tyson Fury and is an ATG.

I mean, I get it. I get why some people gave Fury a couple rounds more than I did, like if I change round 1 and round 10 (rounds I thought were close) my 118-110 score becomes 116-112. That's only a change of two rounds, 115-113 is only changing 3 rounds. I don't think a lot of people really think about the break down of rounds in that manner where if you really change just a couple things, the score can swing dramatically.

Usyk knows how to get the rounds, I do agree the body shots were soft and didn’t cause damage but they were frequent and landed so there scoring blows, if Fury come in lighter he would have been able to avoid them.

Just like he did the first ti... Oh wait...

Fury was just outmatched - Usyk was and is the superior fighter, period.

Jesus round 11 was the most one sided of the fight. Another couple decent blows and it could have been a 10-8 round for Usyk.
