Opetaia and Klitschko probably out of the running for Usyk. Probably winner of Dubois-Parker.

Just reading where Opetaia said that he is definitely not challenging at heavy until he unifies cruiser. With Zurdo fighting Dorticos next, and the WBC belt also out there, that puts him way out.

I was probably the only one who thought that Wlad would challenge Usyk in the first place, but it is confirmed on both sides that neither want the fight. I think Usyk himself said that it is less than 0 chance, it is negative. I kind of fancied the first ever all Ukrainian heavyweight title fight.

Krassuk seems to think Parker will beat Dubois, and that will be next, which is actually the fight I most want. If Dubois wins, of course the rematch is sellible for the 20 guys out there who felt it was a knockdown.

Parker didnt really need the dubois fight, for me he racked up the two best wins in the division by beating wilder and zhang back to back which is highly impressive. But if he beats dubois and collects that belt it will be a even bigger fight with usyk for all the marbles. parker can box to a gameplan and is durable. Dubois hasnt faced anyone like him yet

Why would Usyk want any fight other than the winner of Dubois-Parker? He could become two-time undisputed.

and Parker seems like the best fight for Usyk anyway.

Why are people all of a sudden talking about Wlad coming back… did I miss something? He was already well past his prime a decade ago.

Usyk should just keep becoming undisputed over and over again. As soon as one of the alphabet orgs vacates a belt, he just goes and wins it back.

I agree and have long been advocating for Parker, but he is probably going to fight on after that.

He said that he was going to consider it but has now changed his mind since Usyk won.

Why is Klitschko even getting a mention, lost his last two fights, the final fight being a stoppage loss and that was over 7 year ago ! Klitschko being mentioned makes a complete mockery of the ranking system .

Winner of Parker-Dubois makes the most sense.

Winner of Kabayel-Zhang makes the second most sense.

Winner of Bakole-Ajabga makes the third most sense.

Let's assume the winner of Parker-Dubois gets injured and is unable to fight for 6-8 months. That would put them out of contention for most of 2025.

Usyk usually likes taking long breaks but my guess is he knows time is running out. So he will want to fight by June/July of 2025.

So for me, if Parker or Dubois can make July as their date, then great. Let's have it. If not, winner of Kabayel-Zhang should be able to make that date.

That would actually be pretty amazing and funny. Imagine the next era trying to replicate that achievement. He could hypothetically be a 5x undisputed champion in 11 fights.

I agree. I think Parker will beat Dubois. He has looked really good as of late and if he beats Dubois, he will have earned a shot at the champ.

With that said, I think Uysk beats him fairly easily.

This Parker would be a nice edition to Usyks resume. Hope he does a number on Dubois whos becoming a bit of a tool these days.

I'd like Parker to beat Dubois, but all this talk of him putting on weight makes me think he's a bit of an idiot. That was the plan for Joyce and that was a disaster.

It's a tough fight for Parker. Zhang and Wilder are very nice on the resumé, but both those guys throw about 5 punches a round whereas Dubois is way more relentless.

Nightmare scenario is Dubois beating Usyk just because age finally catches up with him (which is happening sooner rather than later) and Frank gloating that justice has been served for the 'robbery' last time out.

Let's make Usyk vs Parker/Dubois in Saudi around summer time 2025 and then Usyk vs Bakole in Africa on Christmas 2025 (undercard Joshua vs Ajagba). Bakole needs to get humbling.

Then the end for Oleksandr in HW for good. Retirement or one last fight in CW (Opetaia or Beterbiev) in summer 2026.

Beyond Wlad being basically 50, Wlad is his promoter no? I couldn't imagine that happening just off the strength of that.
