I just watched Usyk vs Fury 2....How do people think it was 8-4 or even 9-3?

    It wasn't a Robbery.
THAT fight that I refuse to talk about was a f'ing robbery and a f'ing disgrace to the sport.
This was just, a disagreement with decision.

I don't have a fighter I'm invested in , in the heavyweight division this generation. It is starting to become Dubois though.
Usyk won 15-0 not 8-4 so stop downplaying.

Okay how do you have it 7-6 when there is only 12 rounds lol. Hard to take your opinion seriously when the most simple part of scoring was too hard for you.

Heroes? Fury is a coke head and a liar. What exactly is heroic about that?

You know... Sometimes when everyone can see it but you, it's a hint to take another look at yourself - you never know, you might find something.

Lol, Why would I lie about being invested in a fighter? Honestly? Why would I care if a bunch of fanboys of another fighter calls me biased when they themselves treat their fighter like , and wtih no exhaggaration, A god.

Where did I say you were lying?

I don't think you're conscious of it, so denying it is natural...

Doesn't change that it looks like there's something subconscious there - whether it's a bias you didn't know about, or just a bit of contrarianism.

But whatever dude, if you're determined not to see it then it's not going to happen.

8-4 imo but could be 7-5 if you gave Fury the 10th which I didn’t.. either way clear Usyk win

A body shot is a legal blow. Counts the same. If a jab to the body lands, it Counts as a jab. Any other shot to the body lands, counts as a power shot. End of story.

Much better than your initial score. There's hope for you yet.

Anyone who scored the fight for Fury doesn't understand how to score boxing matches and should watch more of the sport.

Uysk’s body work was in fact a big HL for me.

They were obviously scoring punches which did take their immediate and later toll also.

If fighting today, poor ol’ Joe Frazier would be hard pressed getting a score from some folks. Lol.

The body work was the ideal way to get to and hurt Fury when the head wasn’t necessarily available - and Usyk executed that component of his strategy to perfection and it clearly bothered Fury, imo.

IIRC, one particular body shot IIRC rocked and sent Fury back on his heels. Another had Fury hitching his trunks back up high in an obvious, “protective” reaction.

In both fights, Fury did try to assume and maintain the front foot but there were a number of reasons why he couldn’t do so and, instead, found himself backing up before too long.

If Olek wasn’t scoring and often heavily, there would’ve been no reason for Fury to back up as he did.

Fury also made all the clinches and shouldn’t have been credited with any punches (incl. of course rabbit punches) landed when he was holding Usyk at the same time - he also illegally held out his left multiple times -

Both Warren’s and Fury’s claim that Tyson was on the front foot for the whole was absolutely divorced from reality.
