Appreciation Thread of Usyk the greatest Ukrainian fighter of all time

Neither of the AJ fights were close. Usyk whooped his ass x 2 and the absolute best case you can make for AJ in either is Usyk 8-4 and that would only be the 2nd one

The absolute best case you can make for Belly in the first fight is Usyk 7-5 with a KD

One corrupt judge in 3 of those 4 fights had Usyk losing or in the first AJ fight only winning by a round. Scandalous

The judges actually got it right in the rematch against Belly

And let's not forget that Usyk was 4 months away from turning 35 in the first AJ fight and the rematch was a year later and AJ, Belly, and Dubois were much younger or a few years younger in Belly's case and still in their primes and are way naturally bigger than him and are murderous punchers against fighters their own size, with Dubious sporting a KO 95% despite having fought 3 of the most iron-jawed fighters in the division in Hrgovic, Big Joe Joyce, and Miller

Dubois has dropped everyone he's fought sans Usyk, Big Joe Joyce, Hrgovic and Miller and he stopped Miller and Hrgovic and Big Joe Joyce literally just jabbed all night and was very wary of Dubois' power and he actually displayed very good defence in that one because he was so concerned about the power

And AJ still sports a KO 89% even now and has only failed to stop Usyk, J-Park, Fat Andy, Franklin and Dubois

And has only failed to not hurt or drop Usyk, J-Park, and Franklin

Belly can crack hard too when he sits down on his shots and he was 5-O-O (4 KOs) in his last 5 fights going into the first Usyk fight

And obviously they're all giants who hold massive or obscene natural size advantages over Usyk and their power was magnified against him so he was crossing a minefield against them for every second of the duration of his fights against them

And he did whoop Dubious' ass. Dubois never won a round and was dropped x 2 and knocked out, as in dropped and stopped

He would have a HL reel KO against Belly has the ref not dived in to save Belly

AJ was in big trouble and in danger of getting stopped in the dying seconds of the final bell of the first fight

Going on 35 y/o to about to turn 38 y/o, let alone when facing giants who hold massive or obscene physical advantages over them in weight, reach, height and natural size and facing them on the road, generally do not have these signature KO wins or complete domination performances over their elite level world champion opponents at that age and all three of Belly, AJ and Dubois are or were world champions who were unbeaten or with only one loss

HW Usyk is not prime Usyk, as said he was almost 35 going into the first AJ fight and he's fighting way outside his natural weight against these giants. If there was weight classes every 4-8lbs between CW and HW and HW and SHW if there was a SHW division in the pros and those giants are very much SHWs then Usyk would have jumped loads of divisions to face them not just one
