Fury. Too big and skilled. Moorer could hurt and drop Fury but finishing him is another story.

    Fury.

Moorer hit hard but not as hard as Wilder and despite being dropped numerous times Fury has never been stopped.

Moorer was a very good southpaw, and he could have given Fury problems considering Fury's record against southpaws isn't the best. However, I think Fury would be able to outpoint him in a close competitive fight.

Interesting fight. I wouldn’t be shocked to see either man win it but I would probably slightly lean toward Moorer.

Don't get me wrong I think Usyk is ATG just like everybody but I also think a lot of heavyweights could have replicated his heavyweight run. Michael Moorer absolutely could have beat those guys too just like he beat 6'10 Mike White who he battered and he would have also probably smashed Derek Chisora badly.

    Fury to be honest.

Moorer didn't have that great a southpaw left hand. He was more reliant on his right hook since he was naturally right handed.

I think Moorer's good work rate will allow him to give Fury a hard fight. But Moorer is not the defensive wizard Usyk is and Fury will land a lot more. And Moorer does not have the chin Usyk does. Nor does he have Usyk's left hand so Fury won't get as badly buzzed.

Fury by close decision with both guys getting knocked down. Ultimately though, i think Fury can do more damage to Moorer than the other way around.

People seem to forget a prime Fury (both versions, Wlad and Wilder 2) was a total beast.

He is not the same fighter now.

So rating Moorer over him in a HTH is a bit much.

I expect some on here will soon be saying Marvin Hart would KO him in three rounds.

Interesting fight. Fury might be able to squeak this out after some rough moments. But, it is no gimmie. Moorer has better power than Usyk. If Moorer catches Fury like Usyk did in the first fight, he might be able to finish him off. Moorer would need to be in excellent shape, though. If he came in listless and overweight (like he often did), he would lose.

Moorer hits harder than Usyk and Fury has had more issues vs smaller fighters than the Super Heavyweights.

The issue is Moorer doesn't have Usyk's workrate he likes to fight in spurts and that would be his downfall I think but Moorer is a challenging opponent for Fury for sure.

If we're being realistic, I think Fury arguably losing to McDermott and Ngannou is relevant information.

Does Moorer hit harder than Usyk with his southpaw left hand? I haven't seen any evidence of that. I think Moorer definetely has a harder right hook than Usyk but that isn't the punch that bothers Fury so much. Its the southpaw left that Fury can't seem to cope with. And i don't think Moorer hits as hard as Usyk with this left hand.

Yes he does he's more explosive puncher than Usyk check out the 1st clip of Moorer using his left hand regularly the left hand actually sets up the stoppage.

The 2nd knockdown of Stewart the 2nd fight in the clip Moorer viciously snaps Stewarts head back and floors him heavily with a straight left.

3rd fight in the clip commentator remarks "huge left hand" which sends his opponent flying.

The average scorecard on boxrec had Usyk beating Fury by 1 round, and I also felt at the time that the last round mattered for both guys, Fury beats Moorer, Moorer is a level below Usyk.
