Pacquiao, Puerto Rico has other fighters besides Cotto.

Im not even gonna dignify that "fighting only worn fighters" statement anymore.

He's one of the most popular athletes in the Philippines because he's like an everyman.

    From zero to hero.

And he wasnt hyped up at all when he was starting out. He was just one of those hungry young fighters. Then local boxing fans "discovered" this brave young 106 pounder having one exciting fight after another.

As he was slowly going up the ranks, going up to 112 lbs, the thousands of fight fans who "saw him first" felt proud that their "boy" was doing so well.

Then the unbelievable chain of events happened.

He kept on fighting better and better fighters, and he kept on winning?!

This 19 year old club fighter with a big heart and a big punch was like a little juggernaut. It was surreal. Time and time again, he found a way to earn an improbable win against better skilled and more experienced opponents.

All of this was the pre-2001 Pacman too.

So as you can imagine, he's come a long, long way.

I've never been to the Philliphines but from what I've heard, Pac is certainly more loved than Cotto in PR. Tito, on the other hand, is a pure icon and Cotto will always be on his shadow. PR has had lots of champs but none loved as Tito.

pac is the best fighter to ever come out of the philippines its that simple, but i think if cotto was the first ever and best fighter to come out of P.R he'll get the same treatment as pac

I dont know anybody who's actually bought one of his albums.

    It's not good at all.

It's just a novelty album, a vanity project, or whatever you might call it.

The record company probably bought thousands of copies of it to spike the record sales figures.

    It's an industry SOP everywhere.

    Youre exaggerating.

    I live in the Philippines.

    A God among men?
Cross between MJ, Elvis and the Beatles?
    Hit records?
    It's not true.

He does make **** movies that barely make money. And yes, he hangs out with our midget ***** president. True.
