Leonard had a 74 inch reach and Hagler had a 75 inch reach both punched far harder than the average welter and Hagler had a chin made out of granite.

Mayweather would have a chance against anyone in his weight range.

    Official height listed as 5'8-5'8.5

    Thread says nothing about reach

Leonard himself admitted he was less than 5'9 and he knocked out Hearns.

Probably none. That’s not to say that it’s impossible for a shorter welterweight to beat Hearns but if we’re talking about making someone a “ favorite “ then I can’t

There are an awful lot of posters on here really underrating Tommy, I will say it again especially using the Cuevas execution that no welter in history not called Sugar beats Hearns.

It took his absolute career best performance for Ray to defeat Tommy after the most remarkable display of technical brutality by both in my lifetime.

    Hagler was always listed at 5' 9.5" or 5' 10". I never seen him at 5' 8".

Carmen Basilio. It would be a catch up game at times, but I think Carmen gets him out of there before the fight's over.

If Marvin Hagler is 5ft 8 then Roberto Duran is 5ft 5

What would a Terrance Crawford vs Thomas Hearns fight look like?

I've only ever seen him listed as 5'9.5" in his fights, + he had visible height advantages over 5'7-5'8" range fighters like Sibson & Antuofermo.

Hearns had a great career, I think though that more fighters than people will believe could beat him especially at 147lbs I think peeling up for the scales weakened him… every great can be beaten it’s not an aberration every time sometimes it’s a good plan or a style issue. Mickey Walker would likely run him over, Kid Gavalin wouldn’t go anywhere, Basilio could get him almost certainly IMO… Griffith, Burley, Napoles and Armstrong were killers, Trinidad with the right plan could come out and gun him down… Barney Ross and Luis Rodriquez likely don’t get a mention but could do it, I’m pretty confident of it.
