Usyk has unified 2 divisions and is arguably a greater heavyweight than Larry Holmes. Usyk is a modern day heavyweight and boxing like all sports evolve as the talent pool has increased and knowledge is passed down through time and aggregates in the present.

Chisora gave a prime Oleksandr Usyk a tough fight, how would he fair against a prime Larry Holmes.

Shavers - 210lb (hardest puncher Holmes has ever faced)

Chisora - 255lb (hardest puncher Usyk has ever faced) (is objectively a harder puncher than Shavers due to modern day body mechanics and larger mass being moved)

 

HW division has not evolved., most people think its regressed. Pretending an old Chisora has something for Prime Holmes is amusing. He would be a punching bag, as Chisora has been for many opponents.

 

Chisora doesn’t hit harder than shavers in fact he loops his right hand doesn’t throw it straight like shavers !!!! Weird thread. And no way Chisora was Usyk's hardest hitting opponent. He hits hard AJ and Dubois definitely hit harder. As for Usyk saying Chisora was his hardest hitting opponent. Well... Justin Fortune said Dennis Andries hit a lot harder than Lennox Lewis lol

 

Even if Holmes got bored and careless (which he did sometimes) and Chisora landed his best shot flush on Holmes' chin, Holmes would still win.

 

You have got to favour the technical abilities and proven track record of an elite operator like Holmes. I'd give Chisora a puncher's chance though, and probably a better chance than either Shavers or Snipes who both clubbed Holmes down. It's a long shot but if Chisora caught Holmes clean like those two did I think he'd finish the job.

 

Holmes would kick the living **** out of Delboy. He’d also box Usyk’s ears off for what it’s worth.
