Meh. It's merely a stay busy fight for Canelo and for him to take back all his titles that was stripped from him, nothing else. Hopefully there's a more credible opponent lined up for him for May.

Wouldn't surprise me if that were the case. My guess is that it's either Crawford, Mbilli, or Surace/Munguia winner that's in line for May.
Yet another meh fight for Canelo. All his fans will end up saying "hopefully cinco de mayo is a real test" Its no surprise any more tbh.
The fight hasn't been confirmed yet, so I won't get het up about it but if it's true this would be just a very dull and meaningless fight. Scull shouldn't even have that belt in the first place, he robbed Shishkin for that belt and even then Shishkin isn't that great. Scull isn't even the best Cuban at 168, Iglesias would thrash him.
Horrible fight, but not surprised - Canelo stopped trying to add to his legacy after losing to Bivol. I don't think he'll fight another top level opponent at all.
Terrible matchup. Canelo should fight Crawford, that would be a hugely popular matchup that would have the interest of virtually all boxing fans and make a lot of money.
