More than entitled to disagree, I'm definitely not blinded by nostalgia though...I tend to be extremely fair on my ratings of hypothetical match ups ....I'm not even a mad pacquiao fan I always preffered Marquez..but 2009 manny was an absolute phenom

So what if he a slicker than Marg? The fact remains Bud looks average fighting to prime average fighter. How can Bud defeat Prime Tito and and if Pac if he could not even handle to a lesser Madrimov?

Madrimov is a powerful puncher, but it was just a boring cagey fighter, Bud fought safety first but was never really any trouble.

It did not change the fact the he looked average to an average fighter fighting his size. It can also be arguued that Bud did not do enough to capture the belt from Madrimov. He was only favored to win because he was an American. Had the fight held in Uzbekistan I dont think so Bud could have gotten win the way he fought.

Madrimov didn`t throw enough. According to Compubox stats Crawford landed 95 of his 433 punches thrown, with 55 power punches landed and Madrimov landed 84 of his 275 punches thrown, with 65 of them being power shots. I dont even think either fighter threw 275+ punches and Madrimov certainly didn`t land 84 shots, either way it was a clear win for Bud, but he was too tentative, he has the ability to stop a fighter like Madrimov but he seems to be going down the Floyd Mayweather route, he could have finished Spence earlier but did not.

Crawford is a bad style matchup against any version of Pac. I don't think Pac beats him, not even the Pac that beat Cotto

Crawford/Tito is an odd one because I would like to believe that Crawford could outbox him over 12. But Tito has never lost to anyone smaller in frame than him. I think his frame is just some type of stylistic foil for guys smaller than him.

I said this some years back, I think it still holds true. I'd root for Crawford with absolutely no confidence
