His mom and his 3 cousins from oakland aren't going to pay 130m to see him fight.

Some might question the number, though if you'd had the 'bread taken off the table by EE fighters' like Ward has, you'd also want some compensation in the form of 130 million dollars.

My suggestion to Arabs is to offer the fight Ward promised us, which would be the biggest fight Ward could possibly be in.

He's nowhere near the richest man in the kingdom.

I could see offering him 30 million for those 3 fights. you could promote the right fights with him to make a profit. i think any more is a risk you dont take unless you dont care about losing money. his name carries only so much clout.

I doubt Turki would give 1 million to Ward to un-retire, let alone 130 millions.

Never gonna happen but if it did I wonder much money Turki would need to throw at Ward to get him out of the US.

No one in there right mind would pay Ward that amount of money to come back .. he wouldn't get anywhere close to that in his prime let alone now.. because he stunk..

As a Ward fan, I think this is a humongous waste of money............................if it's even a legit (which I have serious doubts).

The Turkh appears to be pretty smart thus far on giving the boxing public what they want................this would seem to be very, left field, even if Ward was 2010 Ward I can't see him spending that much on him. Oddly I think he'd drown one of Ward's contemporaries (Froch) in currency (Froch is an almost can't miss action guy). That seems to be what he aims for.

One issue I see may happen with Turki is he seems to be making fights from a fan perspective. Judging by his fandom he seems to be around 40 years old and a huge fan.

However (I may be wrong), he doesn’t seem to be building actual fighters for the future, not building lasting legacies etc and his matchmaking is not effective in the long term. It seems brilliant for fans in the short term but without letting fights marinate and build, it seems there’s little foreplay prior to a fight.

of course this is brilliant for fight fans, but quite often fans don’t under why fights take a while to make etc. I fear we may hit a point of “what next” in boxing.
He’s helped finalise the hw division but now there is not much to look forward to….nobody is building guys like bakole etc.
