Fury would still beat prime Muhammad Ali and Lennox Lewis, Usyk is just the goat

Wlad wasn't very active in that fight. That plays a lot in Fury being able to do what he did. Lewis, Ali and Usyk would be on to Fury rather quickly and just throw more and be more active winning a wide UD against the Fury that fought Wlad.

The Fury of Wilder 2, may have a better chance against Usyk, but I see Ali moving a lot, not allowing Fury to hold and hang on him. Lewis I think would be strong enough to successfully tie Fury up and rough Fury up on the inside. None of the guys you mentioned get steam rolled, especially in their prime.

Now, come back to reality, understand that the Fury that could have been, never materialized. His time is over and when it's all said and done he will be remembered as the guy Usyk beat twice while becoming undisputed HW. In otherworld, Fury will only be remembered when historians speak about the greatness of Usyk.

Buster Douglas will be remembered more for beating Tyson than Fury will. LOL No amount of fantasy match making, trumps what a guy actually accomplishes in the ring. Bu, bu but head 2 head, he tall, moves good. If he was in shape and didn't drink. He would be the greatest. Well, guess what, he was a fat ass, alcoholic cocaine snorting mental case that accomplished far less than what his potential granted him. Deal with it.

Both Ali and Lewis would beat the hell out of Fury especially a young Lewis. Fury has always struggled against smaller 6'3 fighters look at Cunningham and Peter. Who are nowhere as fast as, elusive as Ali he won't bully an Ali who constantly moves and has incredible head movement. Lewis would outjab him and murder him with right cross and uppercuts.

    I couldn't agree more.

Fury should not be mentioned in the same breath as Ali or Lewis.

Fury ducked the rematch with Wlad and lost twice to the only other great fighter he faced.

He doesn't get to be in the conversation with Ali and Lewis.

Let’s see him give Ngannou a rematch before we talk about Ali.

Point 1 Ali was the best in the 70’s Lewis was the best in the 90’s - Fury isn’t even the best of this generation two losses to a smaller fighter and he still hasn’t fought AJ so he might finish third if AJ can find a way to win

Point 2 if Usyk could move in and out and outland Fury what do you think a faster more elusive prime Ali could do

Point 3 how many top ATG in the top five or even top ten of most peoples list have back to back losses to the same fighter the mark of a true great is to make adjustments and win the rematch, only fighter I can think of is Holyfield with two losses to Bowe but he did get a win and this is a prime Bowe another ATG fighter

It's even debatable Fury is the best UK fighter of this era honestly with Dubois coming up and Joshua/Fury being undecided in a H2H match up.

I actually think he might give post-exile Ali issues. Pre-exile Ali? Fury gets chopped down like a tree.

When Fury beats a prime, top notch hw, it will be his 1st. It will never happen though.

At his absolute best I give him a 40% chance. At their average form Fury doesn’t win.

Fury beating Lewis is a terrible take. Can at least somewhat understand Ali though cause that’s back when it was normal for a heavyweight to be built like Apollo Creed.
