I try to follow women's boxing more these days and I started following the latest Matchroom hypejob on Instagram. I really don't know what to make of Shannon Courtenay. Put in against nobodies early on is only to be expected but one look at her Instagram and it's selfie after selfie, just now she posted about getting her nails done and I couldn't help but think 'Is she for real?' I don't think she's a particularly good advert for women's boxing but does anyone know if she's actually any good?
Just some good looking, hobbyist fighter who started boxing and shifted some timber. Has no amateur pedigree. Good luck to her but if she looked like Susan Boyle, she’d be fighting outside some kebab house.
Six years as a pro, 11 fights, 5 of which came within the first 9 months of her career. Having lost her last fight back in October, bringing her to a record of 8-3, recently getting engaged and with lips now full of collagen I can only assume it's the end for Shannon.
Whilst Fish Eyes was investing in loads of talent Harringay Box types, Eddie was investing in shite like this. The level of both stables now represent how good both are at identifying talent. Eddie without a decorated Olympian is basically clueless
Won't box again And nobody will care Her attitude stunk back then and I'm sure it's no better no Add that to a distinct lack of real interest in her boxing career and it's really not worth her time She's better off doing what she's doing
Youre in the minority there then because that’s when everybody got behind bridges. Courtebay cane across as a right prat in the lead up to that
He also made some very good points before he left; banning key active members right before a big fight RBR is a ****ing joke. Mods here can be worse than Hearn and Warren at times. Hopefully Susan Boyle never finds the board; otherwise she will be more shook up than @Aydamn when Whyte popped against Rivas.
Dave is fit and well, we were chatting back and forth during the Usyk v Fury rematch and after Christmas. Definitely a loss to these boards
