I've seen some recent sparring photos of Klitschko ( Last week). He looks in tremendous shape. I could really see a comeback happening.
I don't know man, I always hear these rumours and that but then again nothing really happens. To be honest, I don't know if he should return considering his age especially if he fights the likes of Dubois, it would probably make sense putting him with a gatekeeper at least like Hughie Fury, Jermaine Franklin, Ajagba - and see how he does before jumping into such a fight.
Mike looked in tremendous shape for his Paul fight. You can look in great shape at an advanced age but at a certain point age in the fight game is undefeated. If some people say he was old and washed in his fight with AJ, what would he be at this point?
Klitschko's mind knows what to do but his body can't realize it, in a way it would be nice to see him in the ring again because after all he is the fighter of my childhood but there is no need to prove himself anymore...
Any return Wlad Klitschko would make would be on some kind of misfits or celebrity boxing event. At his age his mind would know what to do but his body would be playing catch up.
He should stay retired unless he is going to do senior fights. Sure, take in Briggs, or something, But nothing more.
I guess the draft letter never showed up for this fit and able-boded man training everyday in his personal gym and then having catered organic breakfasts.
Oh please guys. Wladimir Klitschko won't return. Andre Ward won't return. Carl Froch won't return. Muhammad Ali won't return.
If Usyk hangs them up and the belts scatter, there’s probably a winnable vacant title out there for him but he needs to avoid the young big punchers like Dubois, Itauma etc.
I think it's the opposite for me, his body is more than capable, is his mind though, that was always the weakest link with him.
If he comes back, I'd hate to see him put in with a young hungry fighter. Someone of his own generation, fair enough.
