    Left hook? Right hand? Uppercut?

According to Angelo Dundee it was his jab which landed like most fighters right hand.

Sonny's left jab is invariably regarded as the greatest,or second greatest , jab in heavyweight
history. And his jab was a superlative weapon.
So Liston's best punch was his jab.His left hook was also one of the best.

His jab was his biggest asset followed by the left hook. His other punches were good too, obviously.

Relatively speaking, his jab, in absolute terms (what had the most power), probably the right hand.

His best punch is the most important punch in boxing. His jab.
Which according to most accounts was harder than most fighters power punch .
    Followed by his left hook.
He was top three or four in history with the jab.
Probably top 5- 6 with the left hook.
No slouch with the right hand either, plus, he could combination punch with the best in history.
With the aggression and bad intentions to boot.

At his best a truly frightening opponent to be sitting across the ring from.

He had a devastating arsenal but it all began with the jab.

Agree with the JAB - and he utilised it in so many different ways besides just ramming it into an opponent’s mush.

Posters probably already meant this, but he literally did follow the jab with the hook, beautifully hooking off the jab but also feinting with the jab to throw a hook.

I think he also used the jab feint to set up landing his right hand, ala Carlos Monzon.

The jab worked so well in terms of its material impact upon connection but even without landing, it caused fighters to react acutely on suspicion of its half launch and reluctance of being hit by that damn telegraph pole.

I would love to see a prime Liston boxing today amongst the current HWs.
