With Sam Goodman falling out for a second time, Naoya Inoue will now fight South Korea's Ye Joon Kim. Kim, who is not ranked in anyone's top ten, is ranked 57th by BoxRec.

Kim has a 21-2-2 record and is a bit of a world traveler. His last five bouts have been in South Korea, Mexico, United States, Australia and Thailand, respectively.

I'm happy to see that Inoue is fighting but Kim, who recently lost to a man with a 14-9 record, is not an opponent who will challenge him in any way.

    It's a garbage fight.

And Goodman pulled out three times he was supposed to fight Inoue instead of Doheny but he chose to fight someone else as a tune up. Turns out he never had the testicular fortitude to face Inoue .

Ye Joon Kim has 2 nicknames: Troublemaker and Pacquiweather. Not sure which one is worse.

Huge bummer that this is the best guy they got to challenge Inoue on such short notice but Sam Goodman still deserves all the blame for constantly stalling and pulling out.

Ye Joon Kim losing to Rob Diezel with a record of 14-9. Another waste of time for Inoue.

The last time I wrote off a scrub in a stay-busy fight, the feather-fisted scrub scored a spectacular KO, so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut just in case.

Garbage fight not worth watching, unless you want to enjoy another brutal knockout from Inoue...

It's a keep busy fight. Inoue doesn't want to let his training go to waste and I don't blame him.

Realistically, any decent opponent wants good notice.
Inoue would also want to prep for the opponent.
Inoue’s team will have done the best they can given the time left, without putting too much risk rushing a late change.

still, late replacements can often pose a risk.

Why would Goodman who is not a big name in boxing back out of the biggest pay day he will likely ever get unless he wasn’t seriously injured. See the pic and details of the cut for yourself in this pic.

This definitely has the potential of being one of those random ass wtf moments in boxing. I myself think that this dude will somehow go 12 with Inoue.

The injury is legit. But I remember earlier in the year Goodman jumping in the ring and say to Inoue to fight him or drop the belts if not he's a duck and what did Goodman do. Instead of fighting Inoue in September which was the plan for Inoue he chose to fight some unknown Thai instead. So this is the third time a fight between him and Inoue didn't happened and never cause of Inoue.

I like Goodman he's a good fighter but if I was Inoue I wouldnt give him another shot.

Maybe Naoya can hire him as his latex salesman.
