If Canelo was compromised? Then make sure you don't give Manny full credit for draining Cotto and dragging Oscar down and creating a skeleton

    Can't have it both ways

Whether Floyd is a dick or not I don’t care. He was an amazing fighter, a true champion and generally had the integrity of a warrior.

They fought at 152 which is closer to Canelo's weight class at that time which was 154 than Floyd's which was 147. Compromised my ass. I don't even like Floyd all that much from a personality standpoint but this argument against him is quite frankly, weak.

They just don't like Floyd and are looking for the way to hate on him even discussing his great achievements.

It was a very good win at the time. I think many didn’t want to give him full credit because of the catchweight. But Canelo went on to become the best fighter in the world and a first ballot hall of famer. That’s a great win. Especially considering the age and performance.

Is Floyd one of the best you have seen since you started watching the sport? I mean as a live fighter, not counting pasr eras

100%. The best I've ever seen live were Floyd, Manny, Crawford, Usyk and Wlad. I could add Inoue in there too. Canelo was something else as well, but he kinda fell off imo after becoming undisputed. Golovkin was one of my favorite fighters but he doesn't have a resume to be with those guys.

I'd actually put Floyd number 1 In skills
Roy jones was a freakish athlete and in his prime I think he would beat Mayweather if same weight, but Floyd is textbook

The best defensive fighter with some offense to him ever. Sweet Pea was probably better defensively, but he didn't have the pop Pretty Boy Floyd had in lower weight divisions.

Sweet Pea is 100% among the best too
I'd also have prime Oscar and maybe Shane too, there are so many lol

Floyd has the best plus/minus punch rate in modern history. That's not an accident
    Welcome back!

    Thanks!

I love me some Shane Mosley. Especially when he beat up that cheat who must not be named.

Lol couldn't agree more, that was a quality beatdown

Well Usyk proved once and for all he us the man of the era and a certified Legend. I backed my horse until the end, but Usyk was just too skilled. He improved from the first fight imo, especially defensively. He just wouldn't let Fury catch him with clean shots

Canelo is one of Floyd’s greatest victories.

Canelo wasn’t compromised whatsoever. But he was also far from the fighter he would become. It’s a hard win to rank but it’s clearly a pretty damn great one
