Hrgovic wanted a Dog Fight with Dubois and suffered a beating, Parker is faster and more versatile than Hrgovic, and will do well in that fight.
To Parker's advantage, he has a wealth of good experience with heavy handed guys, and I think he has learnt from each fight in Ruiz, AJ, Whyte, Joyce, Wilder, Zhang. I do think Dubois will stop Parker at some-point, I could be wrong. But, it is possible that Parker will be able to control the fight with his left. There is a saying that who controls the left, controls the world and this could be the case for Parker and we have seen Dubois get outboxed quite convincingly by Uysk and Joyce and Parker may be capable of repeating those efforts, the blueprint is there in a way (don't forget before the cut that Hrgovic was probably out-boxing Dubois and slightly getting the better of him). However, I'm just not sure if Parker has enough power and skill to outbox Dubois as Dubois is an absolute giant of a HW and Parker's chin will need to be on its best night too. Looking forward to this fight.
Dubois seems vulnerable to crafty footwork. Parker has that in spades. We saw what Usyk did to Dubois with keeping him out of position, and only throwing when the angle was right. Parker will probably do the same to much success, if he survives the initial onslaught. Parker did not wilt before Zhang's power, and it took a while for a prime Joyce to get him, so he isnt going to be easy for Dubois to take out. Time is on Parker's side. Close fight, but I am going with Parker.
I honestly can't believe Dubois is such a big favourite here. He exposed Hrgovic and Miller fair enough. He then beat a lacklustre AJ. But Parker is hungry and motivated and a top heavyweight, for me it's obvious Parker will win this one.
As for how Parker fights him, i don't wanna see him fight scared like he did against Zhang and Wilder. He needs to go in there and light him up like Chisora in the rematch.
The, also known as fought scared. Like when AJ fought Ruiz, when Lewis fought etc I just rate Parker higher than you, that's the problem. It's fine, it's a subjective sport.
I'm saying it doesn't bother me that i rate him higher than you do, it's a subjectively sport not everyone rates every fighter the same.
The point is- Parker was fighting to a plan. A very specific plan. And it worked. I expect the same vs Dubois
Exactly... Trying to keep Dubois offset is the key, like JP did v Wilder and Zhang Feints - level changes- jab when he is about to- lateral movement- Hold when DD hits- and fire off quick combos to disorientate DD Basically never letting him set to attack and frustrate him
