    Berbick was pretty durable only stopped twice and that was to big punchers. Unless you caught Berbick cold he seemed to be good at going the distance and went 15 rounds with an absolute peak Holmes.

    I see this fight similar to Berbick vs Holmes with Berbick going the distance in a brave effort but losing mostly every round.

    Prime Ali? well the outcome is never in doubt. Only thing is would ALI want to stop Berbick or just torture him like a cat with a mouse.

    I don’t think Ali knocks him out, but I do think Berbick’s corner would pull him out or the ref would step in with Berbick getting stopped on his feet, Ali would be landing at will on the predictable Berbick who would be walking forward in the same patterns with the earmuffs on.
    Not even saying Ali would wobble him, but that Berbick would take so much punishment that someone has to step in.

    This … it depends on whether Berbick shows his ass and calls him Clay, etc., as to whether he simply gets defeated or is tortured.

    Most likely a points win for Ali. Berbick was no where in Muhammad’s league but it took a pretty big hitter to stop him and that only happened twice in like 60 fights
