I think Bakole purposefully let Anderson get some false confidence early so he’d be willing to trade more.
As a casual, I reckon throw Bakole in with a contender and get a him a shot at the title. In saying that, it’s gonna pretty difficult when Dubois has all of the titles.
Anderson has some good skills but he is just not mentally tough enough for the top level guys who are built for war. You have fighters especially at heavyweight who may not be highly skilled but they are just freakishly tough and powerful that they can beat more refined opponents. I always think of Lucas Browne who had no amateur career at all but was just hard as nails and hit like a truck.
Zhang has quicker hands and better punch selection, he floored Parker who is quick and fought at a higher level than Anderson, Joyce stopped Parker by throwing lots of shots, Zhang floored him with good timing in a cagey fight, Anderson was standing rigt in front of Bakole.
Nah, his defense isn´t that great. I think he got hit and said: "Pfft, I can take this", and used the opportunities to trade, which worked out just fine for him. He beat down Takam the same way.
I thought the same especially with his impressive hand speed. To me he physically looks like a different fighter to the the one who lost to Hunter, meaning he is on some good sauce, he looks much faster and stronger. I rewatched this fight yesterday also and noticed he was getting tagged alot, and that Anderson actually put up an impressive fight and showed a heap of heart but was ultimately out gunned.
lol he let Anderson hit him to the body. It was literally a strategy. You can’t be serious with this thread lmao
