Normally, when fights are called off, it is disappointing. In this case however I welcome it with open arms. Spence didn't deserve a shot for a major title. And this will allow Fundora face the other champions and contenders of the division. Supposedly Charles Conwell is a possible opponent, which is a solid match up.

To the surprise of very few people.

They kept talking about this fight and I never thought once it would happen.

Spence is way out of shape and his mind is no longer in boxing.

Yep I don’t think Spence is ever coming back.

Spence made a mint vs Crawford. He should just retire. There aren't going to be any more huge paydays for him, just more beatings.

I felt the fight wouldn't happen because it kept getting delayed. I also read some rumor that Spence couldn't get a doctor to medically clear him to fight. Just a rumor though.

Sucks. I was looking forward to watching Spence take a career ending beating.

The guy has barely been able to string sentences together since the crash. He also sounded and looked punch drunk during the post Bud fight conference. You want to see the guy get beaten to death?

I really don't know why black men view Spence as like one of their own, this is something that Spence had that no other black fighter since I don't know when had, all the black men viewed him as like their representative and why on earth? The man never did anything to prove himself. Spence sort of was to blacks what Lomachenko was to the slavs and what Ricky Hatton was to the Britts.

Such a disgusting career that Spence had, ducked the Crawford fight for over a decade while not accomplishing anything at all and hoping for a cheat fight to stardom by fighting an ancient Manny Pacquiao. I certainly would never support such a person. Spence represents everything that is wrong with boxing and many of the things that are wrong with modern society. The day will never come when I'll think to myself "oh I hope that Spence fellow is doing ok", in all honesty I feel like life owes him punishment for his participation in his boxing career.

Yeah I don’t get why most the US fans were rooting for Spence over Crawford. Crawford is clearly the best fighter from the USA since Mayweather and Ward. People can say what they want but it was obvious that Spence was the reason it took so long to make the fight he was the one ducking.
I agree with you about Spence trying to get a free ride against an ancient Pac also his biggest win was over a compromised Kell Brook who had just taken brutal damage from GGG then there was the Mikey Garcia farce who ducked Lomachenko to cash out against the much bigger Spence.

Spence is cooked. I kinda wonder if he had a couple bad sparring sessions in prep for this fight, and/or is showing signs of TBI and docs said no. either way I hope he's OK. Hope he's taken care of and can find happiness in life.

Not sure where Spence will go from here. It does not look good for him though, first not taking up the Crawford rematch, and the Fundora fight. If he is not there mentally, he should hang those gloves up rather than take a beating.

Spencer is cooked anyway, nobody wanted that fight.

You have to love Fundoras team though. 'we are men of our word" "keeping a promise".

This is where that gets you these days.
