Countless… but let me ask you something how many people here would count themselves as “excellent?”

loads of Boxers aren't tough guys persay, some great & capable fighters sure, but being street tough is certainly a plus... now loads of Boxers were both, probably most of them.

But yes it's true not all were tough guys... Ken Buchanan.

Most. I think a shorter list would be which boxers were saints outside of the ring.

As others have said, there are many. To name some that haven't been mentioned yet:

    - Sugar Ray Leonard
    - George Foreman
    - Muhammad Ali

    Hi Buddy.
Regarding your pics, of course Monzon should be included in the title, not so sure Davis is a candidate, as far as I can make out, he was born and brought up in a rough neighborhood, in and around Brownsville, was indeed a street urchin, and was scrapping at a early age, graduated into the pro ranks with a rep as a tough, tenacious, brawler, with a vaunted left hook, had a long run of unbeaten fights including a sound beating of the much loved Canzoneri , which didn't help his cause to be liked and accepted, the foul filled brawl with the saintly Zivic has gone down in history of course, thinking he might have been a little misunderstood at the time, he came across has insular and brooding from what I have read, perhaps his upbringing and peers had led him to be such, cannot find any references to wife beating, drug taking,or run ins with the authorities, then he sort of redeemed himself at the end, by tackling 4 armed robbers, with nothing but his fists, so all in all, not putting him the same category as the likes of Monzon, if you don't mind robert.
stay safe buddy, have a fondness for you and your excellent posts, chat soon.
