Watching the Seldon-Tyson build up is hilarious

LOL that's why you calm down before a fight and do your talking in the ring

 

I remember liking Seldon, good hands, quick, decent power. I remember thinking he'd go on to do big things. Then the parties started....

 

Especially with a Chin like Bruce had!lol
It was so weak, even the strong wind from Tyson s gloves had him down..

 

He went down from glancing blows. Forgot how weird that one was.

You could see he realized he'd bit off more than he could chew right from the beginning when Tyson just about staggers him with a jab.

 

I was pretty young and just getting into boxing at this point. I remember seeing the weigh in and thinking 'wow, this Seldon guy looks pretty tough' - just based solely off the eye test of his growl and his physique. I thought Tyson was in for a tough night.h
Turns out I was wrong.

 

Anyone that could punch knocks out Seldom.
He had a glass jaw.

 

Seldon is easily one of the most disappointing belt holders in all of boxing history. And it's not like he lacked talent, the guy was very athletic with a strong accurate jab and good footwork. He talked a big game and then flipped like a fish not bothering to really try. Crazy to look at this footage knowing how excited people were thinking this was going to be an epic showdown.

 

Seldon should've be charged for the manslaughter of Tupac Shakur

 

The preview shows are often funny when they try so hard to hype a mismatch.

Like during Mayweather-Gatti when that douchebag Ron Borges with his dramatic “what is Floyd going to do when he hits Arturo Gatti and realizes that he’s in there with a warrior who refuses to quit!?”

Um, I think he’s just going to hit him some more and try to avoid getting hit in return.

 

Bruce Seldon had some funny knockdowns before against Jose Ribalta and Riddick Bowe

Seldon was so scared out of his mind in that fight, he KO'ed by the phantom punch. Lol
