I'd love to see this fight.

How do people see it panning out if it were to happen?

There's no doubt Inoue is a classy operator but styles make fights and I wonder how he would cope against a non stop attack from Ball.

I don't usually get excited at the lower weights but these two fighters are an exception

These two are great, I’d love to see ball win this but there’s a good chance he rushes his way in and gets caught. Inoue has serious power.

Nery and Kim have both dropped Inoue proving that he’s not invincible but he’s a level above Ball. Inoue wins by mid-late round stoppage for me.

Great prospect of a fight, but can't help feel it will go a similar way to when Hatton stepped up. Hopefully not as brutal

I think Inoue would have too much for Ball, throws so many good straight shots. But not a foregone conclusion, would be almost guaranteed to be entertaining.

Absolute shootout. I’d definitely watch this live if it was in the UK.

Think both could hit the deck and Inoue would take it late.

Would be a fantastic fight to watch but can't see beyond an Inoue stoppage.

Ignore that. I got him mixed up with Nery and forgot to delete his name before posting.

This would be such a great fight, I pray to god it happens!! The smart pick would be Inoue, but I would be cheering at the top of my lungs for Nick Ball

Exciting fight, maybe even a Hagler Hearns for the lighter weights but at this point Inoue has too much. That dudes punches even sound different!!

That may well be the tipping point for Inoue, he’s an ATG, but that power has to diminish by a certain point, and Ball has been looking elite, he’s not just some belt holder.
Inoue can definitely win a belt at Featherweight BTW.

Great match up. Ball gets stopped but puts in a good account. Inoue is too good at this point in time. Would love to see it, and would love to see Nick win, but head over heart. Inoue for me.

You’ve got to be joking. Don’t get me wrong I always cheer on our own boxers, but Ball is getting beaten badly in this one and prob needing minimum a 12 month hiatus afterwards. With his lack of head movement, leaky defence and come forward only style while launching big wide shots he gets he busted up and stopped.

If he goes the distance or better (zero chance he wins) I will happily eat humble pie and tip my hat to him.
