Any two of them on drugs would be an advantage, if all three were dope up they'd kill each other. Drug test before and after the fight, makes it fair and square.
Alexis is a bit too honest and kind to beat Armstrong tbh,if he tried dirty boxing like Zivic he might actually had a chance of prevailing.
You got that right, if Alexis drank from the same bottle of Pryor, he would have knock Aaron out in the first five rounds. They let Pryor get away with murder.
The narrative created at the time that Aaron was a lightweight who had to move up to 140 to get a title shot is not really supported by any evidence. Aaron debuted at 137 and only has one instance of making 135 recorded that I can find anywhere (he does have a number of bouts — mostly against Dusty Trunks/Wille Fall/Izzy Real type opponents — with no recorded weights) and that was against a 28-14 guy with five straight losses (Pryor KO 1). Pryor did make like 136 a few times, most notably in his biggest pre-title win against shopworn former WBA 140-pound champ Peppermint Frazier, who scaled 139. Aaron never once beat a ranked lightweight and in reality usually weighed between 135 and 140, kind of in the middle more often than not off the weights we do have. I don’t doubt that he could have made 135, but whether that extra few pounds would have been a strain or not wasn’t really tested so it’s an unknown. He did have quite the footprint at 132 pounds in the amateurs — notably beating Thomas Hearns and taking I think 3 of 4 vs Hilmer Kenty and losing twice to Howard Davis in the Olympic trials — but he turned pro about six months after his final amateur fight and from all available evidence skipped over 135 in his pro career. It’s absurd to say not a single 135-pound contender or even journeyman would face him at lightweight in the pros before he won his title at 140. Money talks, and if they had the financing to bring Antonio Cervantes to Cincinnati for a title defense and a few other notables (somewhere in the journeyman/fringe contender territory) from the 140-pound ranks like Frazier they surely could have found a willing lightweight or two. So based on this, I can’t pick Aaron to beating any ATG at lightweight because he never even beat a decent contemporary guy at that weight.
Armstrong was a blown up featherweight, fighting in the lightweight & welterweight divisions, that's how good he was, I mean great! He was under contract to Mike Jacobs the Tsar of NY who controlled all the fights and venues, especially MSG. He had practically all the fighters under contract. Armstrong and Louis were his golden geese, they made millions and both were robbed , winding up broke.
Armstrong at his best could throw 200 punches per round and never letting up, fighting him would be like fighting an electric fan on full speed, none stop with 6 ounce gloves. Pryor would be stopped within 7 round, he is very easy to be hit.
