I think the outrage comes from the 115-111 scorecard for Wilder which means even without the 2 knockdowns Wilder would've still won on his scorecard.

I personally don't see a draw for Wilder I thought it was a clear win for Fury but ok let's just say we give Wilder the benefit of the doubt and give him 5 rounds.

How in the world could someone honestly give Wilder 7 rounds ? That's just corruption and I don't even like Fury.

Pretty sure I had Antuofermo defeating Hagler by one point (originally had it a draw when I scored it at the time, but I was in the infancy of my scoring days and did it again several years ago and this time Vito edged it).

Vito also won by one point on one judge’s card and the same by the Associated Press. It’s been hailed as a robbery but it’s a very close fight with some very close rounds and Hagler gave away a few by coasting (probably had the 15-round stretch in mind as he hadn’t been that distance, but there’s some evidence that Marvin was too conservative in his other major fights vs Duran and Leonard, not to mention Marcos Geraldo before turning it on to sweep the last three rounds).

I don’t think a close verdict either way is out of line for Vito-Hagler I.

No problem with the Ward-Kovalev 1 scorecards

De La Hoya got lucky against Quartey. The last round makes people forget how many rounds Oscar did nothing in. Quartey would do little, but clearly win those rounds as Oscar would do even less.

I didn’t have a problem with Mayweather-Castillo 1 decision. Castillo gave away way too many early rounds.

Timothy Bradley DID deserve the win over Pacquiao. (The HBO team created the "robbed" controversy where there was none).
Leonard beat Hagler fair and square and Marvin bitched and moaned and gained sympathizers who already hated Leonard. Had anyone else beat him, there would have been no controversy.
Leonard-Hearns rematch: Fans of Hearns, and Leonard's many haters, wanted Tommy to get revenge so badly, the fight has now gained a wrong reputation as a robbery. It was close but no robbery and the draw was fair.
Antuofermo beat Hagler. Very close, and I was fine with a draw, but it was not a "robbery". Hagler has a rabid fanbase that wants their hero to have a sparkling record and can't accept that a club-footed bleeder, with no punch, fought the great Hagler to a draw.

Wilder v Fury. If you got knocked down twice and got no knockdowns yourself its very difficult to cry about robbery. Especially when its a draw and the other guy didn't even get the W. Though Wilder got a title defense out of it they both did since Fury was lineal champ.

I think Parker beat Zhang but if Zhang had somehow eeked over the finish line I do not think Parker fans would have had a right to cry robbery.

I agree. Beterbiev swept the championship rounds. Bivol had to do very little to land the plane and he just couldn't do it and he has no one to blame but himself.

Despite a final round, I thought Jimmy Young lost to Foreman.

I had Jose Luis Ramirez winning by one point vs Pernell Whitaker.

To me this is a fight where the commentary swayed some peoples’ impressions — there are rounds where Pernell does very little and even turns his back and the commentators are talking like he’s dominating the action … where JLR is the only one punching and he’s at least landing some shots here and there (although sometimes not terribly cleanly).

Whitaker started well — won the first two rounds and three of the first four on my scorecard — but hardly kept that up. But I think the announcers made up their minds based on those early rounds and weren’t watching/paying attention to what happened round by round after that.

From my perspective, a lot of it comes down to what you like in scoring a round — the guy who grinds 3 minutes or the guy who has a couple of flashy moments. It’s one of those fights where you’re almost guaranteed a wide range of opinion (as seen in the final cards which had Pernell winning by five points with one judge, losing by four with another and a point behind on the third, or something like that).

For me, JLR landed just enough and just cleanly enough to edge some of the close rounds, and that added up to him having the edge.

Yes, I've heard him say different things. I think Leonard having the ego he has, and being the pefectionist he is, simply might have been unsatisfied with his own performance so he gives himself a lower grade for that fight. I don't know. I also know Leonard likes to be Mr. Nice Guy and say nice things so that could be it too.

The three biggest times I felt like my opinion was in the minority, and this is all based on viewing at the time of the fight:

Pacquiao vs Horn - I had Horn winning
Froch vs Dirrell - I had Froch winning
Beterbiev vs Bivol - I had Beterbiev winning

Listing those back to back like that really underlines my bias towards aggression doesn't it haha.

Alan Minter v Kevin Finnegan (3 fights)
Minter won all three bouts by close points decision.I remember at the time it was a popular opinion that Finnegan won at least one of those fights. Now Kevin is one of my favourite ever boxers but i agreed with the official verdict every time

I thought the judges got it right with Vernon Forest beating Ike Quartey.
