Using the Tucker that beat Douglas and distance with Tyson, does he defeat Old George,at any time in his comeback?

I’d pick him to beat the best version of comeback Foreman, behind the jab with movement keeping him off balance.

Too mobile for George as well, and durable enough to take his best shot s.

Old George struggled against fighters like Tucker who probably was able to box him off the backfoot.

Tucker puts on his track shoes and did what Morrison did, but gets nailed less often. Tucker takes a convincing decision.

    https://www.the-sun.com/sport/13318506/george-foreman-refused-fight-tony-tucker-boxing/

"Foreman revealed he vacated the belt rather than face Tucker.

He told the Oxford Union in 2016: "They tried to force me to fight Tony Tucker after I’d beaten Michael Moorer and I remember looking at Tony Tucker and saying ‘momma didn’t raise no fool’.

"I’m not fighting him, and they took the titles. Some people I’m not going to fight.

"That’s the good reason, I didn’t want to fight him. Too tough.

"I’ve got to tell the truth.""

The Tucker of the Douglas or Tyson fights beats any version of comeback George. It might not necessarily be easy for Tucker, but, the decision would be clear. Tucker's attributes and style would be all wrong for the powerful, but, slow moving old Foreman.

    George seemed to think so.

Tucker was a bit underrated. Foreman could detonate him but then again Tucker can take a hit he took bombs off Tyson and Lewis.

Tucker is heavily overrated actually, but in this case the most likely verdict is Tucker taking a convincing decision due to his style and attributes.

Yes. I don't think I'd favor him at any point but he'd have a shot the whole way through and it'd have been a very interesting fight I wish George had taken when he was asked to do it in the mid 90s.

Problem with favoring Tucker over late 90s Foreman is Tucker regressed more at that point than George did.

yes and quite easily. Tucker was a mobile and skilled fighter. And he was far too cautious to brawl with George. Tucker by an easy decision in a mind numbingly boring fight.
