Morrell did a number on that crater on Benevidez' nose though.

 

I'm not sold on benevidez. It seems his lack of punching technique and power was flattered by fighting @ 168. Morrell was too cautious and weary of it and had the wrong game plan.

 

Say what you will about Benavidez but I really like his confidence and fearlessness to take on the toughest challengers. I’d like to see him face the winner of Beterbiev vs Bivol 2 next.

 

No way in hell he got shut out either, though.

I think he'd be competitive with both. But lose. Actually I think Morrell has a higher ceiling than DB.

 

Yep hopefully the clowns at PBC don’t stand in his way.

 

Scorecard was **** but Benividez clearly won anyway. We know boxing is corrupt as shot already, but the right man still won
