What do we think? seems strange to have it agreed pretty much then cancelled a day later, it looks like Canelo is fighting Paul, but that would be in May so Canelo can do both as he always fights in May and September, and Turki has a high success rate of getting stuff done, and the frosty relationship between Canelo and Turki was fixed so it's a bit weird, my guess would be Canelo is getting a huge number to fight Paul, and is proabably asking Turki for more money for the Crawford fight to get near what he's getting for Jake Paul now and Turki has said that's too much, maybe they we will re negotiate a number, what do people make of it?

That's a shame but not sure that Ginger against Paul would be a real fight; clauses three pages long. Just another bonanza for the suits.

Good. It's a stupid, stupid fight Canelo and Crawford. Someone needs to sit Turki down and explain what weight classes are to him

Great news, Alvarez’s rampant greed is being thwarted. Pity the other 3 alpha self appointed worthies haven’t followed the ibf’s lead by stamping down on him for holding them hostage!

Good. Weight classes for a reason. Crawford only just got past Madrimov at 154, never mind moving up another 2 weights.

    It's really fishy.

The Ring - owned as a private venture by Turki - published a story last week under Keith Idec's byline:
Yesterday the same publication put another story out under the byline "The Ring Staff":
Arse and elbow very much out of sync there. Doesn't take much imagination to work out who the source was for the correction.

Reflects very badly on the new administration there that they published something proven untrue so quickly. I would have expected them to use the Ring as PR for their future events, not publish gossip that makes them look bad.

A 147 pounder against a PED taking 168 pounder. That Turkey really does see fighters as computer game characters.

Crawford is huge naturally but hasn’t really carried his power up through the weights not that he was dynamite to begin with. Canelo would catch up to him eventually.

I was looking at making an absolute fortune on that fight. Theres still an opportunity there if he fights paul but the bet will require collosal testes at awful odds. Luckily I possess bigger ones than most

    Given Turki' vision is

    Benn vs Eubank
    AJ vs Wilder
    Canelo vs Crawford

2 pointless catch weights with a couple of drugs cheats and a massive fight between two has-beens.

I can see the whole Saudi cards turning to dross fairly quickly

I'm I'd like to see Canelo fight someone who isn't jumping up weight classes.

How anyone could want to see Wilder fight is beyond me, he hasn't thrown a punch in his last 2 fights.

Benn is an arrogant drugs cheat who prior to juicing was English level at best
