Robinson called Zivic I believe the smartest fighter he fought or something like that… LaMotta had a bit to say, Burley, Conn and others whose opinions we should pedestal.

Marciano was most often in a crouch and on the front foot. It would look weird, if not being completely off balance, to try a classic shoulder roll. "Philly shell" is a name given to a posture. Everyone knows what I am talking about. I don't need to dive into the etymology.

Arturo Gatti wasn’t the most skilled but loved a war. One of, if not, the most entertaining of his generation.

    Wilder.
Sergio Martinez also fought way more like a guy from 1920 than he's credited for.

SORRY Seamus lol I was trying to just add something… Well actually you’re wrong here… his weight was back towards his rear foot, Joe Frazier fought off his front foot… Rocky was shaded off and leaning to his right, lead foot to lead foot - that stance and style was to create distance between him and the opponents punches, time for anticipation - this is also why he could make tall guys fall short and counter them… look how he stood and how much distance there is between him and the opponents right, now look at Frazier.

EDIT: for people interested in a visual… 1:20 or so against Walcott is a very dramatic example.

Rocky baits from the back foot but ends up doing most his work from the front. Just watched his fight against Louis again. That's the way he worked.

But if crude means ugly, then Zivic would definitely fit the category,if Muay Thai guys learnt the art of the 8 limbs, Zivic learnt the art of 10 limbs, shoulders, butts and much more.

Ah… no, no disrespect but not really, I’m not picking an argument usually we share a lot of opinions but you’re wrong as of my understanding.
