Brawls with the less durable softer hitting fighter prevailing?

i have seen some footage of Mercado vs Fernando Montes on youtube - i think it may be on Rich the fight historians channel.

Montes was later on in Mercado's career - mid 80s i think - Bernado was the comeback trail and looked a little fleshy but eventually got the stoppage.

Would like to see him v Cobb, apparently it was a decent scrap
