How does Mrs. Cobb’s boy Randall do when facing the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth? Ten arounds in Reno, Nevada (so neutral). I want to hear some opinions before I weigh in.
"The Truth" had one of the better jabs in the history of the division. Williams beats Cobb easily with a UD , if he's focused and in shape.
While I think it’s worth noting that Randall gave Michael Dokes fits and walked through his stuff to land his own shots and make it very, very competitive, I also have to face the Truth here. Carl by UD, but I think Cobb gives him a few shaky moments. No way Williams stops him.
I do think that Cobb could give Williams trouble, but it's also fair to say that Carl had much more stuffing in his left and right hand than Dokes did. He's still likely gonna try to come through Williams' shots and have some success, but I think that Carl's shots demand a lot more respect. Especially his jab. I agree with your verdict, Williams UD.
Williams by decision. He would box Tex's ears off keeping him at bay with the jab, tying him up and regrouping. Tex doesn't have the power to exploit Car's oft-dented chin if he does land a hay maker -unlike say Mike Weaver or even Jessee Ferguson.
