Marios Barrios is a remarkably average fighter. Barrios got beat up by a lightweight, an ancient Thurman with messed up hands, and went life and death with a gatekeeper in Abel Ramos. I know Mayweather is really old but I do actually think he has more than enough craft to beat Barrios and win the WBC title back.

Reflexes! No amount of working out training can get a 47 years old mans reflexes back to what they were at 27. A man can throw a punch at 47 with the same power and speed, but it's that little delay in reacting to either move out of the way or throw that makes it difficult for fighters that once had incredible reflexes(RJJ) To continue fighting. We saw the decline in the McGregor fight, FM got jabbed in the face consecutive times and didn't react. RJJ got hit by jabs by Glen Johnson before getting put to sleep. They couldn't react fast enough. Father time is one baaaaaaad mother-lover.
