A lot to like there, and while I wouldn’t say he’s my favorite from that lot, I was always a big fan of Virgil Hill.

I’d probably list them as Archie Moore, Big George, Roberto/Nelson tied for third ahead of Virgil.

I've got to go with BHOP. He was an incredible old man champion. He didn't just win alphabet titles against weak champions. He went after the top guys when he was pushing 50.

Underrated,it seems like the first great/good product of a great trainer would turn underrated over time, same with Don Jordan(first Eddie Futch disciple that become world champ)

I may add b-hop to the list too, only Archie Moore came close to such feats like what b-hop did.

None. I find it sad seeing these old fighters lookiing fat, bald, slow an a shadow of the great fighting machines they once were. Hagler may have ended his career on a loss but at least ended up finishing before embarrassing himself unlike Leonard Hearns an Duran who all went on far too long. But then Hagler is now dead an the other 3 are still alive so what the hell do I know ha ha

I felt like Archie Moore didn't embarrass himself that much imo, same with Hopkins, both gave them all to boxing at an old age and succeeded, Duran is a different case and Rachman...he was a mix.
I don't see losing to someone like Oscar Raknafa is that good finish of a career, but boy he only got stopped once and overall fought a good 20-yr veteran career,I thought he won vs Porpramook.

Moore was embarrassing going up against the young an inexperienced Patterson an Clay. Both of whom busted him up an easily stopped him. A shadow of the great fighter he once was. Hopkins was a joke in the last few years of his career, resorting to spoiling tactics to get through the fight an steal the decision an whining to the ref every chance he got in trying to con everyone that he was been fouled.Ended his career in his last bout by pretending he had been pushed out of the ring an was injured. Made a mockery of the dominant undisputed champ that he was at Middleweight where he lived up to his fearsome executioner nickname.

Getting whooped by a young future ATG isn't that bad imo, Moore did well after that Patterson beating and if I remember he was still supposedly good ranked vs Ali.
That b-hop case...well,his nickname didn't change to the alien for no reason.

I just think Hopkins 49 years old insane. I remember him taking fights and thinking this guy is suicidal, like I am actually concerned, and then he wins.
