Johnson was more skilled. I think everybody would agree with that ?? That perfect jab of his could make Patterson´s "explosion" be stopped in his tracks... I almost wanna say they are in different leagues...
Patterson. Johnson couldn't defeat Moore and Moore couldn't defeat Patterson. Regardless I find Johnson to be fairly overrated. This is mostly at HW but guess who started 37-2 at HW? Johnsons the sort of guy who Patterson was born to knock out.
I pick Patterson, but with same day weigh ins, I don't know how drained he would be at 175. Patterson would be perfect for cruiserweight, assuming same day weigh ins.
Johnson is a bit too stiff, Patterson would catch him unexpected at some point even if he’s boxing really well.
