Dubois is a level above AJ/Ruiz/Parker and Whyte and Chisora are a level below.

Joshua is number 1 right now, but Dubois has a chance to usurp him. Maybe parker

But yeah right now Aj at his best is the best of this pack.

He got blown out by Ruiz and Dubois. He beat untrained Ruiz, had a war and a win against Whyte, and a 116-112 decision over Parker.

That's 3-2. This thread is about fighting ability and not mythical resumes full of 40 year olds.

That’s how I see it. Joyce KOing Dubois, but then getting KO’d by Zang who got beat by a resurgent Parker kind of messes up the ranking. Dubois was a little green getting ready for the world level, but showed he could be competitive with Usyk, but has had a good run TKOing Miller, Hrgovic, and impressive demolition of a post prime Joshua. On his current other he could potentially be better than AJ, but not enough quality wins. Joyce seemed to be having a nice little run, but surprised me getting stopped by Zang. Parker surprised me by beating Zang and Wilder. The fight against Dubois would have helped us with the ranking, but that will have to wait for now.

Different skill levels and styles definitely play a role in the ranking, but also the green to prime to past their best messes up the rankings as well.

You know that Joyce stopped Parker, right? Joyce was also handily beaten by Chisora. That's the whole point of this thread. None of these guys would be more than a 2-1 favorite over the other. They're all pretty much in the same bin.

You keep insisting that Joshua was "post prime" - can you elaborate? He was 34 and everyone said he looked better than ever after Wallin who was his best win in a long time. Certainly no one was saying he was post prime before he got whooped.

Parker is having a moment being on the rise. But I also don’t think it lasts long. I favor Dubois, but also don’t know. It could go either way. But we won’t find out for now.

    1. AJ (subject to change if Parker handily beats Bakole)
    2. Parker (with recent form, I'd back him to beat everyone on this list)
    3. Dubios (those KO losses and performance against Lerenea are telling)
    4. Chisora (great run, even when he's past prime)
    5. Ruiz (needs to do more imo)
    6. Whyte (he's basically done)

    What you wrote.
Two of my favs, response in brackets:
    1) Joshua vs Ruiz 1 was close [WTF? o_O] ,
    2) and I think Joshua was pretty much caught off guard. [I suppose if the fighter you favor loses, he was "caught off guard"]

Would put AJ and Dubois at the top of the list together, AJ is completely civilised but he had a very good run at one point.

Although, Dubois smashed AJ recently, AJ did look better against Usyk than Dubois did.

Followed by Parker, Whyte, Ruiz then Chisora for me.

    Here's the weird thing.
AJ is better than all of them but also has the worst loss, the obese non-HW Ruiz.
Everyone else probably beats Ruiz without needing a rematch.

    Parker already did.
Chisora is a bad matchup for Ruiz and would win on activity.
Whyte is better than Chisora and has more power.
Dubious would exhange with and KO Ruiz.

But AJ beats all the above in his better days.

Honestly it just adds to the mystique of AJ.

Joshua definitely isn't better than Dubois. His best win is by far and away a Klitschko with one foot in the grave. The rest are old or stumpy blokes or the likes of Parker who didn't throw a punch. What good is a boxer if he doesn't throw a punch.

Dubois showed that there are levels when he destroyed the "new and improved Joshua"

It seems the AJ hate is still alive and well on this forum.

Yeah, I don't quite get it, but I also don't follow the boxers interviews or personal lives. Maybe he said or did something that pissed people off? Most of the times I think they are just playing a personality for the public whether it's the good guy or bad guy. Since I think it's mostly fake I just try to watch the fights and analyze it that way.

People mainly don't like him because he's popular and they think he comes off as pretentious or inauthentic.

Popular fighters tend to get the most flak. He does seem like a bit of a stiff, but I could hardly care about something like that. There have been wayyy worse boxers to do this. Fury says outright outlandish things and Usyk is a bit of a dull personality for me personally, but I'm also not going to deny they are excellent boxers.
