Definitely would want to see him 20lb lighter vs. a plodding woodchipper like Bakole.

Weight = power in this case

It has all been planned meticulously

    Parker by KO

He looks big, but not fat. I feel he looked kinda fat in the Joyce fight, but looks stocky here. It's either gonna work and he gets a KO or blow up in his face as he gases and get slept.

Parker never had fast feet, even the new and improved Parker feet are slow. What has improved is his movement. Its not necessarily faster but it is more educated.

The extra weight will slow him, it will also give him more weight on his shots, we will see if that has an impact against Bakole.

I assume Bakole has landed by now, when would they weigh him in? Eager to see what kind of shape he’s in.

267 pounds is huge for Parker, will be interesting - especially if it effects his power and stamina.

Although, Parker would shoot himself in the foot if he put weight on so he could stand and trade with either Dubois or Bakole.

Apparently 315lbs. My source for that is this forum.

A fully clothed Bakole tipped the scale at 315 lbs in the airport. That's 30 lbs north of his weight for the Anderson fight.

YIKES!!!! I get that he probably only just started camp for Ajagba and that fight was far away, but dang! That’s a good bit of weight to carry around the ring. What was his weight for the Takam fight? He was a big boy for that one too.

This should be a straight-forward points win for Parker now. Don't expect him to stand and trade with Bakole like he tried with Joyce. He will take the Zhang approach. In and out, safety first, racking up the rounds. Parker has the chin to get caught, but Bakole at this weight won't be able to press any advantage if it comes.

I feel bad for Bakole. He had a final eliminator lined up

299 against Takam. I was actually surprised that he "slimmed down" for the Anderson fight, I expected him to come in at 300 back then.
Whats funny is that Bakole has been a fat **** since Covid hit. This dude never recovered from the lockdowns

He looked massive and cumbersome in the Takam fight imho and with another 10-15 lbs on him now, and against a much better opponent in Parker, this doesn’t bode well for him. He had better go for broke in this fight. He must have got quite the payday to step in here.
