Top performances of Tyson Fury: 1. Wlad 2. Wilder 2 3. White 4. Wilder 3 5. Wilder 1 (Wallin because he has to win) Top 5 names of Tyson Fury: 1. Wlad 2. Wilder 3. White 4. Chisora 5. Wallin
When it comes to the top 10 wins in boxing, I think the top 5 will always be the most debated. Some might argue Muhammad Ali’s win over Sonny Liston or Sugar Ray Leonard’s victory over Marvin Hagler should be at the very top. But it all depends on how you weigh skill, competition, and impact. What do you think – which top 5 victories would make your list?
I actually think think Chisora and Whyte are better than Wilder, and its hard to say how good Wlad was at the time, but there is a certain amount of history that goes into these picks, so... Klitschko Wilder II Wilder III Chisora I Whyte Chisora II Chisora III Wallin Cunningham Kingpin Hammer Ngannou Pianeta Rogan McDermott II Schwarz He didn't really beat McDermott the first time, so I am not including it. Also, I am going against the grain and saying Chisora I was better than Chisora II, because even though Del Boy improved, there was a lot of uncertainty in the first fight, as we didn't know them, whereas the second was (at least for at least for me) a foregone conclusion.
1. Wlad 2. Wilder II 3. Wilder III 4. Chisora II 5. Whyte 6. Chisora 1 7. Cunningham 8. Hammer 9. Wallin 10. McDermott II One thing I would note if this was a list of performances I'd put the Wilder I fight in the top 5 and the Usyk 1 performance probably at 3. I thought Fury was cruising up until round 8/9 and he did well to recover from the punches he took. Hopefully he can add a big name to that list as I think Fury in a few years time might fall into an underrated category. I think if he had met Usyk 2020-2022 he would have won, timing certainly played a part not to mention Fury fighting Chisora again then being horrendously out of shape for the nganno fiasco. He still beat two champions in their back yard and I think right now he'd still beat Dubois, AJ, Parker, Bakole, Kabayel etc. But only if he doesn't have a long lay off again. If he waits 9-12 months and has to shed weight again then those fights could go the other way.
I just think 2020-2022 Fury still had a lot left in the tank, was training seriously and Usyk was still getting into his rhythm as a heavyweight. It still would have been very close and Usyk might have nicked it but I think Fury missed his chance. Fell out of shape again, wasn't taking fights as seriously as he should of been.
