The contest was certainly more tactical and taciturn for the majority of the fight. The final rounds were exciting. I think Ortiz edged it.

 

I preferred Madrimov’s cleaner power shots in rd 12. Hitting Ortiz square in the face.

 

What an annoying fighter Madrimov is. Leaning in with a headbutt. I think fighters need to side step when he's doing that and let him fall to the ground head first.

He's definitely shipped a few punches but he also took a lot of punches on the gloves which itself can lead to swelling of the face from your own gloves.
