Yes i am fine with it. My preference would be Usyk-Paker but if Parker wins tonight, he will need 2-3 months of rest and then a 3 month camp. So the earliest we would be looking at would be early September.

This way Usyk can fight Dubois in June or July and set up his farewell fight for around Christmas.

Would i prefer Parker just to Usyk can fight a different style? Sure. But that is neither here nor there. Both Parker and Dubois are worthy challengers and arguing one guy deserves it before another is just grasping at straws.

As long as the guy getting a title shot is a worthy contender, i am happy.

I'm disappointed with this, as he already smashed dubois easily. Pointless rematch. He already is undisputed, doesn't need to reclaim Daniels paper title

Obviously if Dubois wasn't sick and beat parker, that would be different

I would just like usyk to fight someone fresh. He isn't going to climb the All time Heavyweight rankings with another rematch.

 

In fairness, i don't think he has a choice. He has to fight Dubois if the Saudi's want him to.

And Dubois has gotten better. While i would prefer Parker or Kabayel for stylistic reasons, i wouldn't call it pointless. The current version of Dubois is a better fighter than what he was. 3 top 10 wins will do wonders for your confidence.

Fury was another contractual obligation.

Pretty clear the Turkey loves two things: British fighters and Muslim fighters. If you're a British Muslim you are in the RIGHT business.

He wants to see a brit HW champ because he understands that brit/american champs are very good for elevating the sport to the masses.

 

Bakole looks like he is about to enter a strongman competition that European guys normally dominate.

 

Dubois next is a good fight for Usyk, not as good as if Dubois would have beaten Parker, but better than anything other fight.

If he finishes his career with Dubois, Parker and Kabayel that will be a quality finish.
