Poor parker will just have to fight another killer to have a title shot he has already earned Realistically Parker should be fighting usyk, while kaybel challenges daniel Then the winners have an undisputed showdown and it would mean MUCH more if Usyk beat parker, then the winner of DDD and Agit Now that would be a legendary way to bow out.
Parker was the favourite for a reason. He's gonna mess Dubios up if they ever meet in the ring. Props to Bakole for stepping up though, hope they paid him well.
Bakole isn't a hype job and he doesn't have a glass jaw, I've seen him get hit plenty time before. The right punch can do that you, it landed right on top of the head
Wouldn’t be too hard on him, he clearly didn’t have a camp and wasn’t ready - evidenced by his coach literally starting to remove his glove tape before the ref waved it off - they knew he wasn’t ready. That being said, I was always picking Parker cos I remember the narrative on here about Joyce and how quickly that bubble burst. And to a lesser degree Anderson. And Hrgovic. People tend to get carried away - always go with the resume, rather than the hype.
He did give a good account though, he arguably won the first round and landed some good shots on Parker before walking into a fight ender.
Me too. Once I saw his size I wondered how long he would last. This thread is for fun. I give him props because I would not have taken the fight were I in that kind of shape. He has guts and he came to brawl. I like the guy.
The sad thing is Bakole took this fight because he saw it as an opportunity that was too good to turn down given how hard and how long it's been for him to get a break. If he was one of the A-side chosen ones he likely wouldn't have felt compelled to
Absolutely pathetic, Bakole entered the ring like a walrus. Any promoter that cared about the fans wouldn't have sanctioned this debacle. Uh, since when has Parker become a one shot knockout artist? he didn't even catch him on the chin, looked to me like Bakole was waiting on the first decent punch to roll over .
Given the bizarre circumstances of the fight, he deserves and will get another chance, but yeah, he is overrated because he got his reputation against Jared Anderson, who has no talent whatsoever, and who they were maneuvering to be the next Deontay Wilder.
Yeah I get that Thing is Bakole did still look really dangerous and he stunned J-Park numerous times. I wasn't expecting an early ending like that for J-Park but Bakole did look exhausted after that long flight and who knows how that all affected him For sure. He's immensely likeable
To be clear I like the guy and this thread is for fun. I would just tell him to be careful of going Fatton between bouts
