It is clear Beterbiev cannot win the third fight after tonight. He is aging and won't be able to KO Bivol, and he won't get a decision against the younger,.more popular Bivol.

If Beterbiev wants to test himself at Cruiserweight against the champion he could give it a shot with the knowledge that it is a high risk due to the significant jump in weight and the fact that Jai is so young and fast. That being said, if AB he gets into the later rounds Opetaia will be holding on for dear life. Beterbiev has very little time left to make this fight, so he needs to jump the queue.

If not, Beterbiev can retire with his head held high as one of the best in the sport.

Bivol and Benevidez would be a decent fight. Bivol is highly skilled and won't be afraid of David's power. Benevidez is also underestimated from a defensive perspective.

Canelo is irrelevant. He will continue his run of "easiest acceptable fighter" until he ends it with a Jake Paul fiasco, the way Floyd ended his career against Conor.

Do Canelo or Benavidez have a chance at either Bivol or Beterviev? Doesn’t seem like it. Maybe Canelo against Bivol at 168 but Benavidez doesn’t seem to be a even close in skill.

Yes but Benavidez does literally nothing better than Bivol. Plus he can't knock out Bivol Beterbiev couldn't even knock down Bivol. And he's not winning a decision nobody is going to win a decision over Bivol.

benavidez makes you work, intelligently. he applies hard enough pressure to kepp you focused and moving at all times, but can move defensively very well when you mount an attack on him, all the while just making you work. he is also very good at timing shots in between your flurries, so bivol wont get away with those flashy combinations uninterrupted. dont sleep on him, hes coming into his own.

They both don't hit that hard so I kind of see a chess match but maybe thats not the best term. Like a chippy chess match. But nobody is beating Bivol at a chess match type fight or anything resembling that.

i still favor bivol, due to his consistency against any look you throw at him, but i wouldnt be shocked if david pulled it off. he has the tools, but he also needs the right plan for a very complicated fighter.

Personally I don't think even think Benavidez should be fighting at 175. Don't get me wrong he's still a really good fighter but he'd be soooo much better at 168. He's still not really even that proven at 175 Morrell is a 168 moving up like he is and Gvozdyk had one foot out the door. I'm searching but I just can't find many strong reasons that he could beat Bivol. Maybe give him a good fight yeah but thats about it.

This is all up to Turki. He wanted the rematch. Does he want the trilogy or does he want the Mexican Monster.

    Trilogy.

Canelo V Benavidez for the winner of the trilogy.

    David.

Have zero interest in a Canelo rematch and barely moreso in an Artur rematch.

    Bring on DB.

How is it a great trilogy though. AB will be even older in the third fight and will once again have to chace the younger Bivol around the ring... I dont see how an older AB does any better in a third fight and beating an even older AB doesnt do a whole lot for Bivol at this point (many people already have him 2-0)

This isnt a great trilogy in the making imo. Bivol backpeddles too much and ABs too old.

    They should just move on.

I am open to all 3 bouts, but I think this makes sense. Although realistically the Canelo fight aint happening, so rematch Beterbiev then defeat Benavidez.
