Having seen the fight it’s pretty obvious an in condition Bakole would have knocked Parker out

The template for Bakole was right there and he was warming into it but due to the circumstances he obviously wasn’t able to replicate it to his highest level. His punch resistance was also impacted by the fact that he was tired and his body was in need of sleep so of course his body would react worse to punches than they normally would.

Parker felt Bakole’s shots too and he admitted to getting hurt after the fight. A fully fit Bakole would have absolutely knocked Joseph Parker out no doubt about it stop playing with me.

I don’t know about it being a sure thing that Bakole would’ve knocked Parker out, but he definitely would’ve performed better if he would’ve bothered to be in shape like he’s supposed to be.

Nope you’re looking at it from the wrong angle. Shape or not I’m not talking about short notice. If it was an announced fight from the start where both fighters knew they were fighting each other Bakole would knock Parker out.

Bakole was clearly jet lagged. So jet lagged that when Parker's punch registered on the top of Bakole's head there was a lag in him being knocked down.

He lagged in his punches, he lagged in his reactions, and he lagged in his punch resistance. A Bakole with no Jet Lag wipes out any heavyweight today just like he beats them all up in sparring. Only way to stand a chance vs Bakole is to have him jet lagged first.

Usyk and Dubois can compete with a fully fit Bakole but Parker can’t. He’d get steamrolled.

In your head, not in reality, yes.

Bakole’s circumstances was a reality there for all to see. Parker fans like you want to give him full credit for the win though like he beat the real thing.

Almost certainly with Bakole in shape we would have seen something different. But I don't know if the Congolese fighter would have knocked out Parker. We can make hypothesis but the reality is that Parker knocked out an unprepared Bakole in 2 rounds.

It's a bit like saying that if Tyson had lived an athlete's life in February 1990 he would have destroyed Douglas. Most likely in my opinion, but the reality is that Douglas knocked out Tyson that day. And we could make many examples in boxing. Opinions, however well-founded, remain such, reality is something else, there is certainty.

Your obsession with Parker, and the need to constantly belittle him is quite something.

I’m still waiting for this Parker to get one good win. Just one good win without an asterisk next to it.

I’ll say Bakole did seem to be warming up before the KO.

You can literally attach an asterisk to any win on any boxers resume.

Depends what you think a good win is. The wins are good for Parker, I think he's on a six fight win streak. People thought he was finished after losing to Joyce. Wilder and Zhang are still top 10 wins. Especially after Zhang beat Joyce. So yeah the Zhang win is a good win.

Apart from his loyal fans does anybody really think he beats Usyk? Or even Fury? Parker might have improved or maybe has been flattered with who he's faced but he's still not top tier and I don't think anybody is claiming that he is.
