No I don't think he is retiring.

I still think the AJ fight will happen.

 

He might have a career high pay day sitting there. He won't be letting that pass. Just marinate for a little while.

 

The Joshua fight is stagnating rather than marinating as neither of them are doing anything and the division is moving on.

 

He's becoming the Keith Thurman of the heavyweight division

 

Least we know now who Chisora will be having his 50th fight with
Fury stay retired, nobody wants to watch you fight more soft touches

Only fought 3 real guys in his entire career at best

 

I have long thought that Fury and Joshua will fight, they will not give up the good money that their challenge would bring. So Fury's retirement will last until Hearn and Warren meet to discuss terms and date of Fury - Joshua. We will know something about it soon, this is my opinion.

 

Fury is all washed up. He may have won Chis I, II and III but he would lose IV. AJ would murder him, even Wilder might finally get his victory over him if they had a fourth fight.

 

For me Fury only has one or two fights left.

Defo AJ to start with - too much money, hype and bitter rivalry there.

If one of Dubois, Parker, Kabayel can beat Usyk then I could see Fury looking to fight whoever beats Usyk (which I highly doubt any of them will). As Fury will sense an opportunity to win the title then retire.

 

It's so much more money than any other fight either of them could make without the other, I don't get why they wouldn't do it. Both are at the end. Go out resolving the rivalry, sail off into the sunset.

 

Let him fight Bakole, the total tonnage in the ring would be record setting

 

I've noticed he recently deleted a tonne of posts on Instagram, most of them were the build up to the Usyk II fight.
Not sure if that means anything, Maybe he is trying to clear his mind and get back on track.
