We all know the story with Kell and how his story ended, but how good could he have been had he not stepped up to fight the monstrous GGG? I have been going over some of his fights again recently and believe had he stayed in his lane he would have beaten Spence. I'm not sure about Bud, but it would have been a great fight I think Brook had the tools to be an British great and would rank among the best, had he not gotten smashed by triple G He had a very good career, but could have been more
Was a big fan of Brook during his day, technically solid, super fluid and accurate. I'm not sure what was the worse career decision, the move up to fight GGG, or the immediate boiling back down to 147 to fight the monster Spence. Though both fights were huge paydays for him..
Would’ve been nice to see Kell Brook fight Devon Alexander at his peak. Also would’ve liked to see him pass on the GGG fight and face prime Thurman and Danny Garcia. I also think he would’ve beaten Spence had he never taken the damage from GGG. Winning those fights, plus his win against Porter would’ve solidified his candidacy for the HoF.
