Lewis-Tyson was a fight that was held in 2002, could've happened in 1996, and maybe would've happened in late 1991, as both Lewis and Tyson were highly ranked by the WBC, and just a couple of months after Tyson was registered as convicted, Lewis fought Ruddock in a WBC eliminator, which came just after the previous heavyweight eliminator between Tyson and Ruddock.

Anyways, what if, before fighting Michael Moorer and/or Bruce Seldon to unify the heavyweight titles, Tyson whoops Bruno and defends his newly earned WBC heavyweight championship against his mandatory Lennox Lewis.

    Bonus:
    1) If Tyson beats Lewis, does he beat Michael Moorer and Bruce Seldon?
    2) If Lewis beats Tyson, does he beat Michael Moorer and Bruce Seldon?

Tyson would probably take Lewis more seriously than Holyfield. Lewis' only fight was in 1996 with Mercer, in which he didn't do the best, but it wasn't the worst either. Tyson and Holyfield boxed quite well, but Evander was too strong and Tyson also lacked fitness. It's really hard for me to say. However, I find it hard to favor Lewis as much as Mercer.
As for the rest of the question, Seldon looked completely embarrassing in the only fight of 1996, Moorer was better but probably not enough to beat Lennox or Mike. However, both would lose to Holyfield.

That's one the fights that I really would have liked to see.

The 2002 fight just proved that 2002 Lewis was far better than 2002 Tyson.
I'm 100% sure that a 1991 Tyson would have quickly demolished a 1991 Lewis who was too inexperienced (as he admitted it himself during the SKY broadcast of Tyson vs Ruddock 1).

However a fight in 1996 would have been very interesting.
Although Tyson was not the same fighter after jail, he was still formidable while carrying a little more power and almost the same handspeed ; Lewis on the other hand, started to enter his prime and showed his toughness during the Mercer fight.

I would have favored Tyson but his lack of activity could have cost him.
    50/50 fight.

Bonus : both Lewis and Tyson would have been too much for Seldon and Moorer.

60:40 fight in favour of Lewis.

If Lewis can survive the first 5 rounds, he boxes his way to a cautious decision. Otherwise, Tyson stops him.

Tyson was a 3-5 round fighter at this point but Lewis was overly cautious vs even a 1 round Tyson in 2002.

Now i would have loved to see this in 91-92. Iron Mike by stoppage.

Mike Tyson knocks Lennox out until Lennox fought Mercer. Think that fight was the turning point even though I thought Lewis lost.

he took it seriously, not having fought a single good fight for 5 years, nor one that lasted longer than 3 rounds, constantly saying that he needed fights and contracting Moorer as his next rival. Either he didn't take him seriously or he was a complete and inexperienced idiot, which could be true.
Did I ever write that Tyson would beat Hoyfield? This Evander from 1996 is unbeatable for any Tyson after prison, Evander crushes that Tyson every time!!! serious or not, so write down my opinion next time you attack me for my opinion. There are Tyson haters
funny - you can't actually write anything about him being a completely unprofessional athlete with mental problems, just not even if it's true... They are like haunted census snoopers who see danger everywhere and react hysterically. It's really boring.

Tyson would have coped better with Lewis's style than Holyfield had they fought in 1996 IMO. Tyson had declined quite a lot in 1996 which is an understatement, in 2002 he was shot to pieces.

I think it would be a closer fight than in 2002 but Lennox still gets the late TKO.

Pretty sure Mike Tyson paid Lennox a fair bit of step aside money so he could fight Holyfield? Not the smartest idea if so.

I would expect Lewis to beat Tyson any time after he came out of prison.

He never recovered from his time in prison, and it was only the opposition in front of him, that made is appear otherwise.

I don't know. Lewis was very formidable. Tyson could still have won this, but he'd have to stop Lewis. Can't see him winning a decision. At least not in 1996.

I'd pick Tyson by KO, But the Lewis who dusted Golota in the 1st round in '97 was no joke.

If he took Evander lightly in the first fight and lost why did he take him lightly again in the rematch?

He didn't take him lightly the second time.
First time was his highest weight ever at that point, whereas he looked trimmer for the rematch and showed improvements.
